A project that started off as the re-roofing of a 20,000sq ft warehouse, developed into us landing the main contractor role on the fit-out of the warehouse to form a large photography studio designed by Ackroyd Lowrie The studio is available for hire for photographers, advertisers and PR companies to shoot TV adverts, music videos, magazine photographic sessions, hold conferences and the like.
The main space is the 5,000sq ft studio with infinity walls, able to be subdivided by moveable partitions into 3 smaller studios, all with supporting lounge, hair and make up rooms. There is a large dining area, VIP dining and a fully fitted commercial kitchen.
Support facilities include reception, administration and management offices, communal toilets, and a roof terrace with a bar.
One unique element of our work has been the bespoke design and installation of 3 large 4.2m x 4.2m doors which provide access both for vehicles to the main studio and pedestrian access to the rest of the building.
Phase 2 comprising lettable co-working and private office space is due to commence shortly.
